If you are selling or refinancing your home, the lender/mortgage company involved in the new mortgage will likely request an affidavit certifying that all homeowners association dues are paid and that there are no outstanding assessments related to your property. This is commonly referred to as a "Certification of Dues".  We recommend the homeowner ask their real estate or closing agent to coordinate getting the appropriate document drawn up, then contact the CCWHOA Treasurer (or any Board member) to coordinate a time to sign the document. If the HOA dues have not been paid for the year, then a check for the amount of outstanding dues, fees (and liens if applicable) must be provided prior to the document being signed by an officer of the HOA.
